Man hugs all round!

Good afternoon, I'm a member from back in 2005 I think..I've matured a bit since then I now drink my pints without a straw..manly shit right there!

Anyway, I owned an E30 tech 1 back then..this one..

I won't go into detail explaining where it went, but basically..I blame religion, soon after I got into Jap..S13, S14 etc and have just sold my Skyline because they are far too expensive and all the owners chrome everything they see...and if they run out of things to chrome then it's fake carbon time!..Some pics of that era of the jdm bummer path..

After not bothering much and just having fun with girls that scare the shit out of me, namely girls from the valleys who have strange tattoos, piercings and the one even slapped me in bed which I found quite strange..I decided it was time to get another BMW..a mate was trying to get rid of an E30 he had laying around for a while so I got it for an absolute bargain!

It looks a bit shit but it's a 316i with an M20 conversion, it's got all leather, LSD, newly polybushed and stuff..got it for £700 with a load of spares!

Here is some pics I took when I went to go see it, I haven't actually got the car here yet I go up with a trailer on Sunday..

I'm looking forward to getting it here and making a start on it, plans aren't purist like the sport so it may end up upsetting a few, but I really don't mind upsetting people unless I'm trying to sleep with them so everything is good!

Now give me free awesome rare shit to help me, oh yea I'm Welsh!

Looks more like a mobile (well, on stands) dustbin going by those interior pics. :P

I know it's wrong for this forum but I'm interested in seeing more of the maroon E36 tbh. :D

jmc330i, yea a pram came out of nowhere in the middle of the track and I made the decision to crash the car in order to save the baby, it was that fucker elton john if your going to adopt all these babies keep them in check!

pacerpete, haha I remember you..your posts were always entertaining :D I do indeed have pics...gotta keep each one on file incase you need to contact them to inform them of anything...:D

FinalD, mobile skips are the best kind of bargains there is..my S13 was found for £450..all the windows smashed, a boot full of water and a blown turbo, couple of quid later it did 4 drift days and I made money on it, will be keeping this E30 but the body is pretty good from what I can see, it will get allot of love!

Chaos is a name from the past.

Not sure yet, I was going to strip it out but I've just got back from another visit to the owner and got a look at the car properly, it's actually a full mint sport interior, underneath is spotless, arches are perfect..so yea I'm a little confused what to do now

Ok so I've finally gotten the car back to the house, after two visits to the persons house with a trailer..much hassle it's home at last!

Not without problems at the last hurdle however...I was told that it was safe to move, so we put it on the trailer...got it to the house and upon turning to get it on the driveway the front right wheel collapses...the night before when he was getting it rolling he had forgot to bolt up the ball joint...this is the result..

Image

Bad times indeed, it looks completley shit but then so did my sport when I got it..so after having a real good look at the car it's got many hidden treasures..

I noticed full sport leather which looks to be mint complete with leather door cards and rear headrests (I'll likely sell on), as said earlier it's had an M20 put into it as it's originally a 1.6....also it's all new polybushed, lots of receipts for lots of goodies, it's got an LSD on it, short shifter etc

It also came with some chavtastic aftermarket steering wheel and a chrome M tech gear knob, the wheel I gave to a mate in exchange for an original wheel, and the gearknob I will likely burn...I'm not a magpie so chrome does not appeal to me.

Sadly, some little bastard has borrowed my jack and not returned it, cannot think who so will have to wait until a mate can pop one around tomorrow...in the mean time I will get up early and give it a good sort through, looks a mess because it's been sat under a tree but it's really mint paint and underneath!

Yea I'm trying to read the plate as "SKUD" as a nickname, but people keep saying the version mentioned above lol, about to get out and give it a sort through so will be a flood of pics at some point today, also need to find out how much to put the leather up for...watching a set on ebay to give me a rough price idea...it's going to be more track focused so I'd rather the leather went to someone who needs it, in exchange for monies of course lol

Alright so I've just got the tree shit and all the dirt off, resprayed the grill quickly as someone had just gone over the chrome without sanding down or giving primer so it was flaking, can you get them new from BMW?

Anyway, this is it after all the crap removed, she is absolutely mint...you can now see the reflection of the clouds in the paint..

And here is a shot of the treasure inside, not cleaned them up yet that is a job for tomorrow..
