Mine - silver/ silver - which for Carmine red is not the right set according to the Wiki. I do like 'em though.

There's some really cool none OEM stripes out there as well, I quite like these although maybe a bit over the top;

You need Viper stripes down the side to hide all thatJim320i wrote: I quite fancy some battle stripes now, might cover up some of the rot

There is this type too on an e21 and an e30

These are features in the haynes manual if you look carefully on a dark coloured e30

£40 for a rollsunnyr83 wrote:What colour did you get then? How much did it cost then?
a 3mm and a 2mml together on the roll to apply like that, as opposed to buying 2 rolls on ebay and trying to get them right, may be a nightmare ?
the "guide" recomended silver cars have a 3mml black stripe and 2ml silver
but i got a 3mml dark grey with a 2mml black, i think it may look quite good, as opposed to a thicker black line
they said....i could not return them as it came from germany and goods have to be £100 or more to send back
so i said- ok then so if i order another 3 rolls, they come from germany and i take 1 roll, you can have this roll back and send 3 rolls back... he went...well yeah

They look great. A bit like a toned down Alpina effect

any views on it then guys what it would look like with the grey/black stripe there as opposed to silver, what sort of good/bad difference the having a darker shade stripe as opposed to the lighter silver in gaszmans pics there, not really sure what to do
