How low it currently stands. It will be getting raised on some better suspension at some point as right now it looks homosexual and drives like shite.

That's a 60mm drop. Probably not enough to get stancec0cks exited now I look at it

The tyres are r888's so the sidewalls look too small. Fancy some 16's at some point

tbh, i dont think its the lowness, it also comes down to the suspension setup-shocks/springs etc...
i had coilovers up till recently and found them so shit, that i stopped driving the car due to the back breaking ride, its been sat for around a year now, till i saved up some cash for new suspension...
but lowness is alot of hassle when driving on certain roads for a everyday car, speed humps, pot holes, etc...

How many times have you smashed your sump? was you driving like a wally or was it just because of the low and there was nothing you could have done to stop it?
Im 60mm low at the front and would hate to end up stranded on the side of the road

My lows, have a sump guard though:

Dan was a massive help to me last summer, without his help I think I would have given up and sold it all off. So glad I didn't now!leeparkes wrote: Is that at Dans place?![]()
Harj your car looks great man love it
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
Yours will go, stop and handle better than most in this thread without a doubt. However you just ain't cool until you have a car low enough to take photos of trainers, fag packets or keys next to your ride to show just how low it is followed by the standard oil flooded gutter photo!Duke137 wrote:

60/40 done properly is about the limit to maintain some handling on a weekend toy, not sure I could live with a 60mm drop though and certainly not on a daily.
Why do people think low cars handle badly?Kedge wrote:Yours will go, stop and handle better than most in this thread without a doubt. here's mine with 60/40 kit

So you're comparing ghetto slammed homebrew cars being used on the road with purpose built race cars being used on nice smooth race tracks. Fair comparison
Where did I say I don't like lowered cars anyway?!?!? Although you're part right, cars riding on their bumpstops do generally look shite. I've just said that in my opinion there is a limit to how far you can go to maintain useability on the road.

That a Cup Kit Indy? Looks a little high, or was that with the M40 in?
I actually think I may want mine a touch lower but might need custom springs to do it as I don't think I want to go for a 60mm drop.
