bmw spec

hi,can anybody help,i,m trying to find the spec of my 325 cab as it left the factory ,i understand bmw keep records of all their vehicles but bmw uk were not forthcoming ,is ther somewhere else i can try i can try,cheers

I went into my local BMW dealer, gave them the reg and they could print off the spec sheet as it was bought new! Just go into the parts department!

I'll second that - the parts department at my local dealer have given me the print out for every car I have bought. It should have the build date and full spec as it left the factory.

Thank you, it is true....I found out my car was built in April 93 and reg'ed in Jun93.....cool hu

How much do they charge for this?

My new cab is a Lux but is missing its front fogs for some reason, just wanna know if they were ever on the car.

yup free ive done it thousands of times if u have any trouble 2 of my gd m8s work @ bmw gb!

My mate works at bm and he said its not supposed to be free, strange but true! Its just a sheet of paper after all! I think everyone can get it free if ya talk nice to your local parts man! I think its the big boss's that say charge but they never do!

Has anybody spotted a surprise when they have been given the spec sheet - I found out I had heated door locks and mirrors (which no longer seem to work!).

Also does anyone know of a list of the spec numbers that are listed on these build sheets. BMW seem to have had numbers for everything as well as options including things like the country spec and the first aid kit.
