Paul, get a can of spray filler / primer, and some paint and give them a DIY paint up. It'll cost you £15 to £20 and you'll get shot of them no bother.

People are d1cks for cosmetics man, as mr taylor says, if you do that youl probably be adding 50-60 quid to the price and having them fly out. People cant see past damage or are too lazy to do it themselves so if you do it, might take an hour or two but itl pay off

It sounds brutal, but that first pic makes them look awful, and then the description states 4 wheels with 3 different types of tyres. That all sends massive alarm bells ringing for me.
Rather than tarting them up with a rattle can, I'd suggest getting the rubber off the rims and trying to sell them separately.

Somehow I think yours may be the shortest fragging enterprise in recent times.
It's a real PITA unless it's your job - advertising, dealing with queries, packaging, posting, dealing with post problems.
Best avoided unless selling to friends who pay cash and collect.

Yeah looks like the picture makes them look worse than they really are buddy.
And the majority of the time people can not be arsed to refurb them themselves, get them wet flatted prime them, spray them silver and lacquer them = £20 max and about 4 hours. You'll get better offers and more interest.
That's what I would do and I have made money on my old alloys from when I owned my Mk2 Golf.

Personally i wouldn't pay over £100 for what essentially look like fooked wheels.verde wrote:People are d1cks for cosmetics man, as mr taylor says, if you do that youl probably be adding 50-60 quid to the price and having them fly out. The ones my cabs running were under £80 delivered which was a ebay bargain. They were straight, but rattle can black with a pish advert and no tyres.
The £300 for the refurb and 4 new avons made them considerably more expensive. Which is what you would be looking at to get those Azevs up to scratch which is why no one wants to pay much for them.

Remember the spray filler primer first. It will cover up the worst of the kerb marks

The biggest issue is your target audience
They are £250 / £300 eventually BUT you will have to be patient. Clean them up as best you can, fit them to your car (be careful where you jack it !
) so scummers can see what they look like on an E30 and so that you can assure buyers that they are straight.
The tyres are not an issue, they are black and round with tread on them. Remember you are dealing with peasants who would not know how to spell Michelin , let alone fit new ones to their rimz
