rust in this area, is only visable when you scrape back 1st the dirt, then all the factory sealant, particularly around the seams, but its the other side you want to inspect more

before paint shop and new suspension etc, i suggest having a look through this, and having a proper rust hunt, carpets out is vital !

and a proper inspection of the arches there 8O

Nice jacking pad delete repair........ 8O, whats the other side like............

Plus i'd be thoroughly going over the car top to bottom looking for rust before spunking money on shiny trinkets.....

to give you an idea on the inside arches, may all look nice, but remove the long bracket that covers the lines in behind, and scrape back the sealant, youl find things like this, which all have to be addressed before worrying about paint

just an observation- but why fit all new springs and brakes , before then removing it all again to scrape it all back and have them being slung in the corner of a work shop :?:

so far ive only found a couple of bad repairs, the jacking point which you can see and a patch behind the rear number plate panel, the other jacking point is original but needs cutting out and repairing so il get both done and get rid off the bodge that is there
