As title suggests, I've finally got an elbow tube and have fitted my m30 airbox, no more gay induction kit.! Only thing is it's not secured as I can't see a way of bolting it to anything.

How have you guys fixed yours to the engine bay?

I am just looking at this as well.
I was thinking to just make up alittle ali braket that the air box slots into.
Or I was just going to leave it as is. The elbow seems to hold it nice and tight and the trumpet is jammed under the headlights. Lee is the man to ask as he is or was running a standard air box.

Mines pretty wedged in, it's not like it's flapping about or anything. Just wondered if there was a good way of fixing it on.

I made a bracket coming off of the threaded part that holds the original washer bottle on. Haven't got any pics sorry as I've taken it all off now to fit a sealed cold-airbox instead

Garbo induction kit is gone..! Got hold of an 80mm to 100mm 4ply silicon elbow tube and used that. Works great.

Also painted valve cover and cleaned up the engine bay a bit. Not as decorative as Jim's nor a scruffy as Jer's...!! LOL

I've just let the airbox sat in there, not bolted down. It's pretty wedged in to be honest.!

Just an e34 rad.!

The raised text on the valve cover it taken back to metal. And the stripes on the box I just masked off and hit it with some alloy wheel paint.
