Today, I found how my water is loss for many years.

water come from a crack at waterpump/oilpump house crack/hole, can I repaired it? my mechanic said it can't be welding or can be ruin it.

he suggest me to find the second or new one.

also my cylinder block is crack and a few years ago I try to weld and put some glue but still the oil come out/fail, I try to weld it but my mechanic said it will wrapped/ruin if I weld it.

So I plan to replace my cylinder block with new one no oversize, can I use my old crankcase (my old has oversize)+ all crankcase bearing?

Thank you

Maybe use liquid metal type repair..... Brand names are JB weld or quick steel, tho other names/ brands are available.
Worked for the water pump housing in my old m40 that I cracked when chasing the old pump out with chisel......

Dunno about the head, maybe get one complete swap over with new head gasket and bolts?
