There's some tough advice being doled out here, by some of the zone's longest serving and most knowledgeable members. Be sure to consider it.

In addition, two out of the three of them are coonts :D

I was still pished from a Christmas night out when I bought it. I barely musterd the enthusiasm to test drive it. And it was cheap.

Theory was if its shite ill not lose too much on it and its kept me entertained. Im still not at the point I want rid of it..

By the time I bought the car got the carbs balanced and the draw sorted, change it to a rear disc set up, get the new interior in and get the welding addressed it will owe me £1600

A touch more than id want to spend on it but im working on the premis any car would have cost more than the initial outlay. Does it not still seem worth while? The car isnt bad except where pictured.

£1600 would have bought you a half decent e30 with a real engine (normally I consider 325i's a real engine, in this case anything with an i in the title will do).

Aye ano but the initial outlay was 700 at a point when thats all I had. I should have held off maybe but I bought as sonething to spend my time on I dont feel like im particularly down about it.

The fact it was advertised on here for good money makes me a little sore as its not really as described. But its buyer beware and 500 of that (interior and brake conversion was totally optional)

Im sure a £1600 325 would have needed work too.

Stop me if im talking shyte :)

ant deny pete was bang on about the car the minute you got it back, but admire your persistance :D

but hungover or not, youve been on here long enough to know things to look out for and things like them jacking points like that are right there in your face to see and spot, fooked interior, engine issues, brake issues. you should of drove it away for £450 !!

I dont know what EFA means.

Your not seriously going down the route of what you spend versus what its worth? Thats a whole other thread!

The interior was okay I just like the check one.

The brakes are fine I just had the chance of a disk set up and thought they be safer. I plan to fart about with the m10 next.

As for what I bought an e30 with okay paint with semi desirable wheels and a kit with some value. Listen you lot weren't experts overnight and im obviously a slow learner but there aint much harm done... I could be into coke or gambling but turds are my downfall :)

Maybe they meant it was near a showroom?

:D your a good lad, comical,. its only forum banter, a red facelift with the check interior is a combination ive always liked, to be honest i think a lovey check interior is one of the best for an e30

f**k me i wasnt expecting to do to my car what i have done :o:
