After reading original post i brought the same set, picked them up from the p.o this morning.
Went and had a look on wiki on how to fit them, looks simple enough but i`m having a little blond moment.
What do i do with the bullet type conectors and the smaller conectors with the yellow collers?
i cant see anything obvious to connect them to.

Do these work on both dipped and main beam?

In out of hospital thru with chest surgerys (which is why i've chosen light things to do, changing bulbs ect) i'll post some pics when i'm settled, erm dipped and main? There your dipped beam (the 1s you use most the time) for main beam you'd have to change them headlight bulbs to, but not sure if you'd want to?

When you turn them on they make a quick flick and the "warm up" to brightnest, takes about 3secs, if they were main i'm not sure how they would cope being "flashed" about, which takes 1 sec

They're not really recommended for main beams. They take a 2-3 seconds to get up to full brightness and they don't like being flashed on and off. Of course, at this price - who cares :)

If I could be bothered I'd go with 100W Halogens and an uprated loom for the mains.

Have yours blown yet? :P

I'm tempted to get some for mine at some point but can't help thinking that at £17 they must be gash.

Those cheapy ones probably come from the exact same production line as more expensive branded ones.
