Make sure you use plastic primer on the vents and then fine wet paper it before top coat, they come out nice, not sure how the grille will come out painted but worth a go

I need to do this on mine as I've some oxidisation in the corner and where an ice scraper has taken a line of the paint off as well. Although upon going halfords to purchase some satin black they only had 300ml cans and no 500ml so I deemed it not worth it for the time being...
saying that could've ordered some online by now so might do that.

Might just use back to black on the grill then, and yeah the bits that run along the car under the windows will be done too
Thats what i got Green, shitty little 300ml ones, cans finished now

You worried me for a second there i thought I bought gloss

Says it's satin in the title thank god, I'll give it a twirl on a couple of bits and see how it turns out... not sure where to do the black part down the edge of the doors in it either to tidy them up or just try a good polish maybe.
Such hard work keeping black stuff black

trouble with satin it does scratch very easily, how does this last up ? is it was easy to apply as satin to get a decent finish ?

I did my grills using Gtechniq - C4 Permanent Trim Restorer and they came out great, no idea how long it last though because I haven't a car to put them back on yet

Its easy as fuck to spray, black tends to go on very easily and look fine. just dont hold the can too close or far as it will go matte or gloss.
Grill looks excellent jozi

Made a good difference. I just don't know how long it last but I couldn't be bothered painting them so I'll apply it again if/when I have to.
