Wondering if anyone could help my e30 is over fueling like a pig, put £10 in it and it used it within 26 miles driving very sensible, no harsh throttle etc, just changed the temp sensor in the head.. Anyone have any advice? Thanks Ryan!

Point is,there's two!

One is blue
One is brown

Brown signal's the dash gauge, blue signals the ECU.

Blue should be checked with a meter, there should be a huge difference in the meter reading between hot and cold. This check is best carried out at the ECU plug as well as at the sensor,to eliminate any possible wiring fault.

Ha, yea it can be a fiddle! Does help to have a deep socket set, if changing it!

Yeah it was the blue one sorry..
I'll get the multimeter out and have a check, see if theres a huge resistance difference..
