Just sanded the grinder splash off my pop outs and need to polish the scratches out a bit. Other than that theyr sorted, I need to restore the black shadowline though aswell as the grilles and other black trim. What are my options...paint. Back to black and theres a heat gun method? Which is best, I know its recently been up but theres always a debate, whats the best option in peoples eyes[/list]

actual shadow line use satin black spray. i use autoglym bumper gel [green stuff] on all plastics. You need to smother the parts and leave it for 2-days then clean it off .

shadow line/gutter trim satin black it,the heat gun method i tried out, found it to be shite (ok i know was only a 1st time go) but if you do that practice 1st on a spare, best thing i found was just to replace any really old bits of trim like that with better parts and just use product on it
"forever black" is said to be very good, but never tried it, been meaning to get some, google it

Heat gun, Autoglym bumper gel , or peanut butter for plastics, if all else fails - satin black paint!

Give it a light rub down with some very fine sandpaper and spray it satin black, get a good 10 year paint too. Will be black for a long time.
