German Number plates

and are they legal?

not legal but do german visitors get finned?? as long as the gapping aint fucked with you'll get away with it, never had probs with the m3 and that car stands out a mile!!

www.germanplates.com are way cheaper than eutags. Dont come with the proper stadt and plakette badges but these can be got elsewhere

i got mine from german plates, around Ãƒ”šÃ‚£33 i think with backing plates. look the dogs and have had no probs with the blues, (touch wood)

On another note, If I went for german plates, I would want the little round parts between the numbers!

i have a little roun d sticker that german plates.com give with the plates. sorry no pics at the moment as i dont have a camera at the mo. will get some when i get it back.

Stickers?? Thought on real German plates the round parts are embossed!

Nope the germans use plastic tags that stick on, theyr'e not embossed.

Germanplates.com can make a plate with any configuration of spaces/dashes that you want. I've got a set from germanplates and am really happy with them, they've saved me from a parking ticket too so have payed for themselves

I have them also on my Motorsport and Im well pleased with them.
Got them from the same place as Ian above, very good service - they send you an email when they have sent them and ask you to e-mail them in return, when have the goods!.

You could always get the stadt and plakette badges seperately off eutags if you wanted

thats well harsh i can't see what the problem is with german plates, especially after seeing some of the graphic plates the ford and saxo nutters have

I got a set from german plates and can vouch for the excellent quality and customer service. Have had them on for about three months now and havent had any bother from the cops, i work right in the centre of town and they have walked past my car many many times and not said anything.
