Nothing so exciting for me to show. How it stood when I bought it:

The lump

How it currently sits while undergoing a large rebuild:

Put it all back together like this for now and eventually feed it some boost. Building it for local hill climb, French track days and Nurburgring runs

Bell end already knows this, since his car failed a MOT test on this point. He changed the springs to uncut ones for the retest, then fitted the cut ones again.Kos wrote:indeed they areross_jsy wrote:Cut pig tails are an MOT fail right?
He also has the distinction of getting his own thread in the back room after just five posts on here. Quite an achievement!
Hopefully one of the serving police officers on here has seen this thread, checked out the reg. of his car, J353JPN, and is passing the details onto his mates at VOSA.

About 450-500 mile drive from the closest port in France. If I can get away a couple times a year I'll be happy

Not too bad for a drift c0ck car. Shame about the diff and suspension and the DIY respray. Would make sense to keep the welder for track days, have areal one for road days, likewise with the suspension if you don't want to fit a proper kit.

Quite looking forward to the drive, but lack of heater/blower and polycard windows with a small opening are going to make things warm that's for sure!
