Have been looking about and cant find a distinct answer about where to get them in the uk.
A lot os us places list "e36 m3" but thats going to be s52 right?

If ARP don't do them whats the alternative? (baring in mind I don't want to go with stock bolts as I am expecting this engine to get abused.)

I telephone ordered a set for my s54 from geoff steel racing, (arp rod bolts that is) the arp packaging stated a few different engine codes that used the same bolt. On the s54 there are 2 different sizes 10mm and 11mm im sure one of those is the same for the evo lump. I doubt its just one set of bolts with a part number specific to that engine. Maybe worth calling them and asking for will, he would know for sure. Pretty sure they can be bought online somewhere but better to be sure what you need first.

Good point on sizes. A similar situation exists with the ford zetec, silvertops are m8, blacks are m9 except the focus rs which is m8.
The top end is apart atm as it has had a tesco value head gasket fitted at some point and its mixing because of it (very little silicon bead around the passages), really i wan't to get the top end back together before delving into the bottom but will pull one out and get it measured.

With regard to the bolts being semi-universal, your probably right. Little of the arp catalogue is specific, its more noticeable with the American stuff as some main studs etc are used on chevys and fords and also fit Toyota 4age motors.
