OK I have read a few posts, and I now need to know, I have a 320i 1989, and I want 2.7.

Is it as easy as just puting my 320i head on the 525e bottom end? Seriously this is the only way I am going to do it, so whos done it and how easy is it?

This is the simplest way of doing it - preferably with 325 throttle body and inlet manifold. Only gives a modest increase in power (over a 325), but a more than worthwhile increase in torque.
Got all the bits lined up myself to livenup my wife's touring. Just need the time.

This thread's running parallel to the "2.5-2.7" thread, so I'm locking this one.
