So I'm considering removing the center box on my 325i.

I'm trying to keep costs down since its a drift car and will be low and therefore take a beating.

Is it going to be stupid holigan loud or will it just sound crap :P?

Any help appreciated

I removed the corroded center box on my e36 325i once... it was too loud and lost that sweet smooth 6 cylinder sound. I'd advise against it.

nobody else got any opinion on this? Or maybe remove backbox and just run straight pipes from the mid box back?

I had a mid box with a straight pipe on my m20b25 and on the m52b25... both very loud and raspy. Not really my thing anymore but probs suit a drift car.
