Mines is relatively factory, but it has now been molested by me with 15inch BBS, IS lip, SE skirts and sport interior (houndstooth) and rear blind.

oh and two pieces of welding, which did include removing and remaking the jacking points, the guy att he body shop just went ahead and remade everythign as it left the factory

so yep mines well molested but only by OEM parts, apart from the stereo which was 1980s retrofit 8)

I have an unmolested one on the drive! Never been painted or welded but it is rusty as fook, which box do I tick? :)
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

I'm not aware of any welding or repair work. The HPI report stated it wasn't a write off either, but had a private plate change.

However, the spec sheet details a cloth interior, so that has had a change to "leatherz". The BBS' have been replaced, but are going back on, and it has had a paint job at some stage.

Other than that, it's fairly straight.

Never been welded at least not any place I can find and I have been hunting. Has been painted in a few places over the years by the looks of things as there is some orange peel bits.

Mine has never been welded !

Had loads of paintwork done though.... some pretty poor finish-wise but at least the colour matches are all good.
These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....

Mines unmolested, and I've chopped out and welded up proper a small patch near a jacking point on a sill. That's the first bit of welding it's had.

Not bad for 24 years old.

Sunroof has got a few bubbles, but I've just found a very small hole in a strange place underneath the heater blower motor, so it's dash out time to sort that out.

I've always wondered about all this welding/welded bits. On some cars there is so much work, it's frightening to think of the consequences if the car is involved in an accident, as a welded up turd is surely not as strong as an orginial piece of steel?

No welding and still original paint. We don't salt our roads here so a lot of the turds seem less rusty than UK counterparts.

But it's been molested a lot

Super rusty
Painted n/s rear arch
Gonna be welded
A few OE parts fitted (OBC, Heated seats, arm rest) would that be classed as molested? as it didn't come out of factory with these parts..

Pfft! I don't agree - it's similar to gluing the handle on my tea cup - when I used it, it broke and scolded my balls!

Tea cup long since binned - shame I didn't keep it to illustrate my very strong point regarding welding... :D

I can supply plenty of pics of my teabag, if you're interested?

Mines been painted but not welded.

Five panels are not original though.

Sunroof tray because it has started to rust a the rear drain tubes

Sunroof panel because someone dropped and bent it when the car was being painted.

OSF wing because some c*nt drove into if and f*cked off without leaving a note or anything.

EDIT: and the front valence as i retrofitted A/C.

and the boot lid because my original one was twisted.

surely painted but not welded should be an option. nearly all will have had paint by now if not they will probably need it.

The options arent all that good... There are lots of E30's that had had no welding or painting... That doesnt mean they dont need it and are complete rot boxes. :D
