Please put up some pics or a build thread!
I am seriously considering doing this myself
How have you mounted the charger?

Just posted a few photos. As far as engine mods I haven't done much because I wanted to make sure all the fabrication is done and the process is successful.
The next stage is fitting a new clutch, up rate the brakes and so on. I will leave the normal head gasket until the engine needs on. I'm planning to do a full rebuild in the future.

I think thats what Rav is planning to do with his new m30 build. Not sure how he's gonna cram all this in though.!
Good work Joe, is it up and running?

The S/C i'm looking at buying is the Rotrex, it's ALOT smaller than the Eaton, half the size, and will fit on the other side where the A/C pump would be, but power would be about 400hp+mcbonio wrote:I think thats what Rav is planning to do with his new m30 build. Thanks
It took a lot of head scratching to get the m90 to fit. I initially tried to put it on the right side but it didn't fit.
400 hp is a conservative guess for the m30 eaton m90 build.
With regards to putting the power down, ATM I have a LSD 4.10 but looking for a LSD 2.73. It is up and running but I haven't taken it out on the road. Still have a few more things to do before I go all out.

4.10
That will accelerate like fook! I've got a 3.73 in mine with a standard m30 and nearly always pull away in 2nd and even then it wheelspins like mad if you are heavy with your right foot!

Yeah I have a 3.73 in mine too, I use 2nd too if I want to get off the line fast as 1st just spins the wheels anywhere over 1.5k revs.

I think Voltekis (or something like that) on here sells the rare diffs like the one you are after, I've seen a few for sale posts by them in the past

I think a couple of sports are being broken on the for sale section, although from what I've seen with high milage LSDs, theres no guarantee you'll get one that won't need a rebuild....

Sports are usually 3.64 or 3.73 iirc? I'm guessing you'd need an e28 diff and swap the flanges for something that low?
