Pretty much as the title says. How much are alpina reps worth or what do they go for? A set of 4 17" multi fitment alpina reps with 4 good/legal tyres for £320. Is that a decent/reasonable price?

I'd say that if you're selling that's a good price but not if you are buying. Don't think they cost that much more new.

Wheels were 320 for a new set a couple of years ago, used tyres aren't worth much unless they are good for tread and a good tyre.

I spent 600 quid on these with toyo proxes, they did less than 100 miles and I sold the lot for 400 quid.

There's still a market for these wheels even though they are the work of El Diablo.

I was looking at buying them for that price?! You think thats a bit steep? What you rekon would a sensible price to offer? I have tried finding somewhere to buy a set new but cant find them anywhere and was told the dont make the reps anymore for legal reasons and all that. Do you know anywhere I could get a set new?

I wouldn't touch them unless I had use for the tyres and was going to weigh the wheels in, they're awful things. They're still available new as they are different enough from the real Alpina's not to infringe copyright laws, they have the wrong amount of spokes for a start. They're made by BK and known at BK171.

What would be sensible, would be for you to NOT buy these wheels. BMW, Hartge, Alpina, AC Schnitzer only provided 16" wheels on non-M3 E30s, for a reason.

They'll ruin the handling of the car, tyres will wear unevenly and the ride is much harsher.

I have run these wheels on my E30, and now run 16s. I am speaking from experience.

I sold a completely butchered set for £112 + post on ebay.

I think you can get a half decent set for well under £200 with tyres & caps.

A set will come up soon enough they always do.

As above though, they aren't very good quality wheels
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Not only do they look cheap and nasty, they are also very heavy and used to make my drive shafts/diff clunk on my cab when gearing up/down. I changed them for 15" bbs and it was great then. Send 'em back to china I say.

They look bloody awful - a great way to ruin an E30. They're crap and everyone knows it.

Alpinas look lovely and suit the car. Originals are the obvious choice, but BK Reps are fine. I have them on my cab. Ride is fine. Handling is fine. Weight? I don't know any different as they were on the car when I bought it.

I am however going OEM HoMo shortly, so will be in a position to provide a response on BBS and the differences I notice. £320 a set with good quality tyres is a good price IMO. :D

I rolled on reps for a couple of years, loved the way it looked, but compared to the 15"BBS, the car drove like shit.

Image

I would always have a nice set of 16" if I wanted a change.

If you have to have a set of reps then there is no need to pay more than 200quid with decent tyres.

BK's aren't reps. They look so different to the real thing, obvious at first glance.
