Basically I needed parts 20 & 21 (Clutch switch & bracket) but they are NLA.

http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mod ... g=66&fg=20

I also need number 2 but its not a big problem.

I can bolt things on but that is where my know how ends. Is it possible to use a clutch switch & bracket from another bmw.... its a long shot but its worth asking, right?

Have you actually asked your local dealer to order these parts?

It's just a switch and a bracket, just like a brake light switch, bracket is a bit of bent steel with a couple of holes in it....

It's just a switch for a clutch...

Cruise control is like brakes. You don't want to f**k around with them too much if you don't know what you're doing
'Cruise control' comes with a lever on the r/h side of the steery wheel, you perverted young *****,that you can use to disengage it,the switch on the clutch is just a ' Oh bloody hell,I forgot to dis-engage the cruise control' safety fitting.

any half decent electronic supplier will sell you a suitable mico switch if you must have one, leaving you with just a method of mounting it.

Lots of love
