does anybody know the correct size for the rear hub nuts on a 90 316i?and if so are they the same size as from a 325?
ive got the rear trailing arms and front struts but wanted to get the hubs off to give the whole thing a refurb. cant seem to find a definate answer on internet, some say its 30mm, some say 32mm and some say 36mm.need to get a socket to fit but they arent exactly cheap for a decent one

Yes they're all the same size. Pretty sure they're 36mm as well.
RealOEM should confirm though.

No worries. I checked Bmminiparts and that just says its an M22 thread - http://www.bmminiparts.com/DiagramView. ... MOSP=47249

Pretty sure it was a 36mm socket I had to buy when I did mine.

Fronts are 36, rears are 30mm. This is for a pre-facelift anyway, I can't imagine they changed them, but you never know.

Ahhhh it must be the fronts I had to buy it for, was rebuilding the whole lot at the same time . Think I must have used the 36mm socket to knock the lock cap the rears.
