Hi everyone! Im looking to put my 1988 (E) e30 320i on coilovers, but the front strut and hub carrier are one piece, so aftermarket coilies will not just plug and play. Ive seen a few vids where people are making their own, but i have neither the time or money to do this. Im looking to source some later model front struts which the carrier will just unbolt, and hey presto, she should look lower and not like a 4x4. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D Also sorry if ive posted this in the wrong place, ive looked the length and width of them internetz and you lot are my last hope!

All e30 struts are a complete unit. Hub etc.

Making your own coilovers is probably the cheapest option unless you like cheap eBay shit.

I believe a lot of the more reputable companies (likes of Koni, Gaz, KW, Tein etc) take your old struts in exchange. Post 'em off and you get nice shiny new ones complete with coilovers in return. Then of course you will also need new wheel bearings too.
