I found £2.56, a Phil Collins Cassette, a Verve one, 5 pairs of Sunglasses mainly from the 70's, a sticker entitling me to free entry to a museum and a variety of dog hairs. All useful kit.

On of my pals bought a 318iS. Found a print out of an ebay auction for the car in the glove box from a few months before for about half the price he paid for it.
Cant say iv found anything interesting in any of my E30's. apart from an E21 handbook.....

That M3 reminds me of that VW camper that was stashed with a load of weed that the guy found whilst restoring it, the stuff looked decades past its time.
Don't think i found interesting items left over in my E30 but in my corsa a few months into the summer there was a rather foul smell coming from somewhere that I couldn't work out where it was coming from, so i cleared everything out the back and found wedged under the drivers seat a partially milk filled baby's bottle.

That means they smoked it or sold it on. I was not so lucky.rancido64 wrote: Luckily for me though they never came back to me about it

An ounce is enough for a dealing charge isn't it? I bet the police christmas party was a mellow affair that year.dimebag_from_hell wrote:That means they smoked it or sold it on. I was not so lucky.rancido64 wrote: Luckily for me though they never came back to me about it
I found a short crowbar tucked down by the driver's seat! Can't imagine why!!?
Also, a nice bunch of stuff in the boot that the previous owner couldn't be bothered to take out like a full set of pads, timing belt, oils, fluids etc

I don't mind, at least i hadn't paid for it and lost it, then i would have been annoyed by it!dimebag_from_hell wrote:That means they smoked it or sold it on. I was not so lucky.rancido64 wrote: Luckily for me though they never came back to me about it
Thankfully though, their searches may have turned that lump of hash up, but the bag of grass that was on me went totally unnoticed

When I bought this car from the guy in Kent, I take it he couldnt be asked to empty it and found a couple of headunits and best of all an iPod (the little one with the camera on in) other wise it was just general crap like pliers, bulbs, fuses, fag packets... @Kemix, I still have the 'M' badges you took off the boot and ash trayKemix wrote:I found a pile of winning scratch cards in the glove box, all with about £2 - £5. Went to cash them up, about 40 pounds worth, and they were all to old to cash! Gutted

I found a magnetic LED inspection lamp. It wasn't there when I bought the car, but I found it when the drivers side kick panel tried to kill me on the way to the zone roam. The garage that I don't use anymore had done the master/slave clutch cylinders the week before and must have left the lamp attached to the metal bar that runs above your knees.
It's a pretty handy piece of kit, if I could find a charger to fit it.

I bought a Range Rover and found a hand pistol mag with 3x 2.2 bullets in it....! The seller was a country farmer (that didn't actually farm) type, not thankfully, a dealer.

Found a passport, smart phone and 2 glove box torches down the back of the glove box on a breaker. Sold the phone and 2 torches and was already breaking even on the car

Another car I found lots of electrical tools in the boot, snap on screw driver set, socket set kit and loads of general garage kit in the boot of another that wouldnt open and the owner assumed it was empty. (They lost the keys)

How long ago was this? Hand guns are illegal in the UK with exceptions of some antiques etcGert_8 wrote:I bought a Range Rover and found a hand pistol mag with 3x 2.2 bullets in it....! The seller was a country farmer (that didn't actually farm) type, not thankfully, a dealer.

I found £18ish in coins in a red touring breaker most of it had slipped through the ripped gear gator, 3 of us had a Chinese takeaway that night!
Steering wheel is obviously the place for week, I had a mk2 golf with a small bag!
And best of all, brought an e28 off some wierd car nut man, he couldn't be bothered to empty the boot, it was full of spares, including 2 sets of rear e28 lights, sold them for £60 a pair on ebay! what a result!

He might have been. I'd have classified him to be more of a country gent. He was actually a country farmer turned business man. Was a bit dodgy as I paid big money in cash!!! I guess that wasn't declared on his accounts..Jim320i wrote:Definately shouldnt have been there then regardless of who they areHandguns have been a no no since 1996 iirc. He must have been a gangster
His "gaff" was lovely and the family were having sunday lunch in a beautiful modern green oak barn conversion type building, when I collected the car..
