touring prop lenth

just a quick one for all you guys,, is a touring prop any different to a cars, im doing a m52 swap and not sure what route to go down yet so far i just have a doner 328 e36.. it has been said that you can use parts from both props and turn the e30`s around or something like that but just wondering if it makes any difference if your converting a touring.

Underside of a touring is exactly the same as the underside of a facelift saloon. BMW made tourings, not estates, so no longer wheelbase, etc.
