Cheap one's and grooved one's.
Brembo are a decent name to look for.
FYI
'sport' is a UK only name, elsewhere in Europe,'M-Packet' was used....in effect,a genuine UK 'sport' is a specced up 325i two door saloon imported to boost sales of two door cars in a market that really wanted cars with the correct door count!

Cheap ones.
Personally I'd only ever look at Pagid for discs (at the cheap end of the market), although in fairness they are much of a muchness really, ie, discs are discs (to a point). So manfs. can't go too far wrong, I just prefer to buy known big brands myself.
I would have to say the above though having bought and fitted this lot:

I bought the dsics and pads from CarParts4Less as the cost compared to ECP and ebay made so much more sense. I recall it being £76 for the discs and £160 for all the friction material and fluid. Braided lines were another £100 and the sensors were a few quid.

Pagid is cheap, but not a budget brand so don't be put off, its made by TMD friction who are responsible for Textar etc etc.
Euro car parts and Car parts for less are the same company
I can usually supply a better deal to zoners but the discount codes make it tricky on certain products.
Give me a try

When I used to work in the trade, we eventually shunned Brembo discs for Pagid, especially for rear brake discs. We were finding cars with Brembo discs on the rear would come back 2 years later and fail their MOT for rusty discs. The ones we fitted pagid to still looked like new.
The pads have a bit to be desired though. Still prefer to use Ferrodo pads.

Never had any trouble with Pagid pads, and I work them fairly hard as i do a fair bit of towing of overloaded trailers with marginally working brakes.capnmchl wrote:

If you buy pads from BMW, then Pagid is what they're likely to be.

I know, but I had some extra discounts on CP4L that I couldn't get on ECP so figured really cheap from the internet only side of the company is good.Meatballs82 wrote:Euro car parts and Car parts for less are the same company![]()
