Silly tech 2 question.

Hello,

I am sending a tech 2 kit. Am I to assume the metal valance where the fog lights are mounted is not part of the kit as it seems too heavy to be included in the price per kit quoted by the courrier.

Same about the Bumper (as its heavy) and the rear bumper is quite heavy with the mountings but I suppose that's right as it needs to be fitted. Just want some clarification before the courrier tells me to go raffle myself.

i do believe the front valance, metal part is part of the car, and should be left in situ

yeah I thought so the guy who took off the kit for me gave me away the valance and the bumpers but to me they are not part of the kit. and would have the courrier going off his nut

i would class the bumpers as part of the tech2 kit as theyre different to normal e30 bumpers, but the whole lot sits in front of the valance which is a part of the metalwork of the actual car, it just happens to be removable like a front wing is.

Valance is just part of the standard car, I thought Boyd was picking up this cab whole?

It's only got one, I checked it on Saturday, not an aircon valance.

Front bumper is definitely specific to the kit. Buyer would be majorly p!ssed off if it didn't turn up as they're minimum £100 on their own if you can find a decent one.

I'm sure I found somewhere online selling new pattern ones. I'll need to see if I can find it again.
