right basically its a 325i se standard car.

the problem seems to be confined to just when the engine is cold.

it starts fine first time,
then after a few seconds struggles to rev past 2000ish, and seems to bog down if the accelerator pedal is pressed. if the car is switched of its then very hard to restart and seems to misfire, however when it does restart or if the car is driven up to temp the problem seems to go away completely.

if anyones got some ideas i would really appreciate it? with the weather being cold id rather have some ideas to go on rather than working through everything. thanks in advance
:)

cheers i had taken the precaution of reading that,

i was just thinking if someone had the same symptoms and could narrow it down ie TPS, ICV or perhaps the rubber boot?

cheers for the help though, think may have to get spraying with the carb cleaner :)

Do the 'free' checks first,if you have an air leak it could, just,be a case of cleaning a joint and sealing it properly.

Once you are satisfied there, check the reading of the blue sensor, preferably at the ECU plug, with your multimeter and compare your findings to the fiqures in the wiki guide.
