Theres only 2 differences 4pot and 6pot the 6pot have vented discs and the 4s have solid discs. You can fit things like 728 sport brakes which are brembo 4 piston brakes if I remember right

The Clio servo is for fitting the M50 without moving the servo over. As you've already moved the standard servo, you don't need to worry about it.

325 came with vented discs.

I believe 320s came with solid discs unless it had abs fitted.

Discs sizes will be same, just that 2.5 will be vented.

4 pot means a 4cylinder car ie 316. Not how many pistons in the calipers

4 pot and 6 pot... AKA 4 cyl and 6 cyl engined cars.

All the discs are 260mm, its only the thickness that differs between vented and non vented.

Wider discs require wider callipers!
There's also a difference between the rear callipers fitted to saloons/cabs and tourings - the touring callipers hive a piston of slightly greater diameter, although I never noticed anything odd about the braking on a car I found with a saloon calliper on one side and a touring one on the other.

Running a touring and a drum braked saloon side by side,I could not tell the difference between the two for braking performance.

For the record, just the 3i6/316i saloon came with solid discs, all the rest have vented front discs.

Touring rear calipers(one L please,Brian!)have a piston just half a mm bigger.

i felt a massive difference in my 316i and 325 in braking difference, might be that my discs were nearly out of it, but once i changed my drums and struts to 51mm, the brakes were more firmer and didnt overheat and fade, on the 316i braking a few times from speed killed the brakes until they were like sponge!

probably the brake fluid etc playing a part as well, but cant hurt doing the upgrade, fit stainless lines etc while your down there as well,

Sorry, but if this is for public road use,you will be safer with OEM spec rear beam bushes.

The 320 slush-box flavour also came with vented discs and based upon what I've seen, so did the tourings.

I repeat...

All except the 316/316i saloon came with vented front discs.
320i saloon would have had REAR discs if it was spec'ed with ABS.

In the 316i the brakes would fade and stop working regularly and very quickly. It had new pads and fluid too.
