Got a clutch that slips slightly when warm in our 325.
Now the pedal bites right at the top of the travel, which means that i suspect the fingers on the pressure plate arent being able to travel fully to exert maximum pressure, but i could be wrong of course and it could be just that the plate is worn out.
Ive not even popped the bonnet on daylight yet so know nothing about the clutch, literally ive no idea if its cable or hydraulic (although it feels hydraulic TBH)
Is it easy to adjust the clutch biting point on the pedal to see if i can get a bit more clamping force, or is it just a case of the clutch needing replacing?
I once had an issue with a car i nitroused that was spinning the clutch every time it came on gas, and that was remedied by me allowing more travel on the pedal so it released more fully, so thats whats making me think that, but that was on a cable operated vauxhall clutch, so was a piece of cake to adjust the biting point of.

The bite point for my clutch is right up near the top as well. I don't think it is slipping though, I have tried full throttle from low rpm in 4th and it didn't seem to slip. It does judder slightly somtimes when taking off from a standing start but that is probably just my driving.
I can't help with the problem sorry but I do expect mine is releated to the pressure plate.
EDIT: Just realised this was in the Engine Swaps/ FI section, maybe better in the Tech Help section? Is it the standard clutch and engine?

Chip, post moved to the Tech section
The clutches on the E30 are hydraulic, and slave and master cylinders are prone to failure after high mileages, and if you're planning some ring work, will benefit from being replaced anyways.

sounds like you both have knackered clutches if your biting point is at top of pedal
clutch vibration through the pedal is usually down to the pressure plate diaphragm being damaged or distorted
