eibach are probably your best bet.

Yep Eibach.. or H&R seem like another popular choice but are said to be stiffer.

think ebays the best, search eibach e30 springs, click lowes 1st, then get the correct pre/facelift ones, a bit of price difference between the 2

I was looking at these:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330511489738? ... 1423.l2648

They say they're TUV approved. Must be half decent?

True, I like how they say 'with certificate'. For what? Swimming 50m?

I've used spax and PI in the past. I've had Eibach once but can't justify spending maybe another 60% when other reputed suspension companies make cheaper springs. There's a balance.

£26? thats because you are buying direct from the maker not a third party with a huge mark up.

very true. in each spring kit is a tuv certificate for EACH spring, & the tuv test is one on the hardest to pass.

like i said before. i've had them on my sport for about a year with no problems at all.

at the end of the day it's just snobbery, "if it's cheap it must be crap, but if it cost's a lot more it must be good"

its not just snobbery steve, your talking a spring by eibach thats renowned, vs a £12.50 a corner suspension spring, surely cant be exact same as a set of £150 eibach, who make them for lots of cars , you may not of had any problems, but that doesnt mean they are the same as eibach and as good does it, just my guess like, but suspension is not something that should be skrimped on and its not like a £120 difference is the world

so in fact what your actualy saying, is that "any" spring upgrade over standard, are all the same ????

^^ there you go

£26- £150 - £600

replacing £600 springs with £26 ones.... , no of course theres no difference, just snobbery
