Mines starting to sag so will be recovering a spare one in Black.
What fabric type did you choose and which glue?
Also how much of each did you buy to do it?
Pics would be good :D

Had mine done by a trimmer - mine was done in black suede with a foam backing and it was fooking expensive - most of the work is in removing the old adhesive/foam backing from the lining.

also you need to make sure you buy a material with suitable stretch to be able to fit it correctly into the corners around the sunroof aperture.

Its a big job but looks great when done - also a good opportunity to fit a grab handle above the drivers door and the rear fittings for the cargo net if you dont already have them.

I'm sure you've seen this eko, if not could be of some help once you've got your freshly relined headliner..

Keep this tread posted of any progress. I'm keen to do the same to my touring eventually, slowly collecting parts to swap the interior to all black.. only have the door cards so far..

I think grrrrmachine has done this too to his touring..

Managed quite a nice job on mine and it has held up for over a year now, no fading and one incident of sagging but my fault for not using enough spray glue (suffice to say there is now a cut Mark where i had to split and reglue it. :( )

Used some black heavy felt stuff, came to about £40 for fabric and 2 tins of evo stick spray glue. there are photos in my photobucket.

Considering getting another tray at some point and doing a better job now i know what i am doing.
