From what i can see its got the RD body kit and wheels (rears look wider)

Were all the extras cosmetic or was the suspension upgraded too, also was the engine breathed on by RD? come to think of it what engine would be in it?

Thanks!

RD cars i think were a bit like Hartge in that you could choose some or all of the menu of parts ie wheels kit, suspension, engine etc.

I have an RD catalogure which includes the E32 and they offered 3 variants of the M30 based seven and 1 variant of the V12 750i.

They did the K30 which was based on the 730i and was up from the standard cars 188bhp to 220bhp.

The K35 based on the 735i which cam in two power outputs, 240bhp and 262 bhp. (Similar power output to Hartges H5 and H5S conversion on the M30B35.)

The K50 was a 380bhp version of the 750i, up from the standard cars 300bhp.

Along with suspension kits, a 332mm disc and four pot caliper brake conversion and torque biasing LSD's were available.

Lee, get over there check out the front brakes, the boot for any badges and the interior for steering wheel etc.

If you can, get under the bonnet as the M30 conversion had RD cam covers and the V12 donks had RD on each intake plenum.

I may be interested in some morsels if you can acquire the turd.

Can't see the reg number but it's not an M30 as it has the wide V8 / V12 grille ......unless some council type has upgraded it :-)
750i's were in 2 versions, standard body with electric sport seats and long wheelbase iL with stock leatherz.
Worthless as a car but Council Dynamics bits have a value.

RD also done a K38 which was a long stroke M30 badboy with nigh on 300 BHP iirc. I fragged an E34 K38 a few tears ago, It had funky adjustable green anti roll bars, bits of a nasty bodykit, lots of particularly grim wooden interior parts and the naughty lump with funky stainless six branch, RD rocker cover, RD ECU and other morsels.

All the morsels got served to sad Jan who has one of the nicest E34s in captivity with the plan being to fit the donk in his turd. Jan is even sadder and slower than me so the engine is still festering up his passage.

According to the catalogue, the K38 was E34 only.

I sent a mate round who only lives just round the corner to clock the reg, I got it arse about face Its TWL 860.

According to DVLA its a V12

What im confused about though is DVLA says its taxed till Aug 13, also its on the insurance database, Now the reason im confused as ive never seen it move (neither has my mate) the tyres are dead flat and there is green moss growing all over it like it hasnt been washed for a decade!

Im going to have to knock the door and see whats what but wont be able to really get over there till maybe Wednesday but ill keep you all updated!

Maybe its had an MOT through the post, insured and taxed in an attempt to get the plate off of it?

As for value, depends on if its the full on 380bhp K50 bad boy or just cosmetics and many other factors like mileage, history etc.

Is it a SWB? cant quite see from the pics.

Thats true.

It looks like SWB, is it right LWB its just the rear doors that are longer?

i think on the LWB the chassis from the B pillar is longer, hence the LWB dessignation...

Yep, LWB has longer rear doors/ chassis but the SWB is the one to go for, LSD and sports seats as standard.

No it's not, it's on PORN until August '13.

May 1990 - could be a 'lang' or a standard body. Either way it's a mouldy old V12 E32 and a world of pain and expense. A tidy one with an MOT is worth a grand.
They've stopped using it for a reason - gearbox shat itself or it only runs of 7 cylinders. I shudder to think. They've hung onto it and keep PORN'ing it so I doubt you'll be buying it for 300 sheets. But it's worth an ask if only to examine the faded magnificence of what is clearly a fine Arab chariot.

If it's a K50, it's worth peeling off a few fifties. That would be a bastard in an E34 with a 6 speed.

Iirc, RD fitted a V12 into a Compact...? 8O :D
