Saw them on ebay and wondered if anyone had tried them and what the quality is like?

That would mean removing the wheel hub and pressing in from behind wouldn't it? Don't want to take the hubs off really as I've only just fitted a new pair of front wheel bearings

I've never heard of anyone using press in studs in an e30, mainly because it would be a massive ballache as you'd have to get the hubs machines to accept a splined stud.
There are loads of people using screw in studs, I'm sure there have been threads in the Motorsport / trackdays section.
As long as the studs are a decent grade, and thread locked in place then they'll be fine.

I can appreciate the advantage for a track car, especially if running endurance races, but what's the point on a road car?
There's a perfectly good tool in the boot tool kit to line a wheel up to the holes in the hubs.

I have a set of these I used for about 2 trackdays, £30 posted if you want them? Bought from the same ebay seller.
I changed to longer shouldered studs with bullet noses for quicker swapping of wheels.
Nothing wrong with the quality, just make sure you clean the hub threads out with a tap and brake cleaner before loctiting them in
