Anyone fitted a fiberglass mtech front bumper?
I thought it would bolt right on but it snags on the bumper mounts, do these get cut down or??

I had one on a e30 that I purchased. It looked like it had been butchered to fit, had been cut and glued to the bumper mounts. I ended up throwing it away and going for a standard one.

Usual procedure is to bond it to the bumper carrier/reinforcer

I have one on my track car, looks ok from a distance :D

Thats what I was wondering. So install the bumper mount as normal, then glue the mtech to that then screw to arches?

Like i said before and what dan said but in more detail , if you take the bumper off youll see inside theres a long plate of metal in te bumper that the mounts are attatched to, peel that away from the actual plastic of te bumper n tigerseal onto that ;) .

Hows painting going started yet ?

Sorted it man :) just got to grind the towing eye bracket down a tickle so it sits flush and itl be fine. Much appreciated advice. luckily the sideskirts and rear are genuine so theres no fannying around to be had

Painting hasnt commenced yet, having real trouble getting hold of sanding disks that are fine grit to get the car fully sanded.
