Yeah, I had them on my first touring then fella nicked them and I nicked them back lol.

may i ask how was this for wiring loom ?
does it sit straight in with no sump mods ?
i fitted an sr20det but now looking to go this route..
what shell do these engines come from ?

What reduction in oil capacity is that? I personally would be worried that there wasn't enough oil.

Damn. I've always wanted a TD BMW engine in my touring. Too bad there are so few running around over here.
All it needs now is wider/lower offset wheels. Ride height is just fine.

I really think those weaves looked the best, just needed to be a little wider or have some spacers added. Big fan of the whole thing otherwise.

Hello gem, fantastic build thread, just read it front to back and looking very good!! Also I don't suppose you still have the standard tds intercooler and pipework sitting on a shelf somewhere do you?? also any safe mods you can recommend performance wise to the engine? I thought the P38's had over 7 litres of oil that quite a reduction.GemE30 wrote:It's so low because I want it to be.
The sump still holds 6l of oil so is fine.
