I do love the Topline wheels, but am undecided as to what look better on your car, the one's in the avatar look to suit the car more, you can't really beat a cross spoke wheel on an e30.

I know I'm undecided too, I might save up for some genuine bbs splits for next summer and use these in the winter, or just as a spare set.
I just like them because they're a bit different, everyones running bbs, bbs reps, borbet a's, ronals etc.

Car and wheels look great.

Hahaha. I asked because of the flag hanging off the rear view mirror. As for you being a battybowy, I had a suspicion....

I know thats what its missing, need them on to complete the look. Got the skirts and pods painted and ready to go on, just spent 200 on all the clips from bmw!
Will get them on in next few weeks.
Only a tiny bit of wear on drivers bolster, no holes though, generally fairly tidy for 20 year old seats.
also thanks for your compliments.

Actually its not a bad spot for dogging, especially if you have van with blacked out windows
No not sorted it yet, leaving it till last, need to get the car sprayed and stuff first and a few niggly bits to sort out.

Thanks mate.
I was debating grey bubble leathers, but do like the cardinal red. Maybe I'll change them at some point if I get bored.

Thats fair enough mate, I'm still not 100% on them to be honest, don't know if they're a bit bling bling for the car, I'll see if they grow on me.
Thanks for your honest opinion anyway.
Have a good xmas

this ! as nice as they are, they look "too big" they are wheels that take your eye from the car and focus on the wheel
look a bit "merc" to me

Matt the wheels are certainly different. The style looks fine but they look a bit big.
But its your cabby and it would be boring if they all looked the same.

I don't mind RH toplines, some car can pull them off.
However, E30's don't, and they're just too big. They 18's?
If smaller RH toplines existed, and you lost the M badges, it'd be a tidy car.

Thanks boys and I now I understand, part of me, wanted to keep it standard and part of me wanted to make it different, but it could be different in a bad way.

Being different is what this game is all about, but there's a fine line between making it look good and pulling off individualism and making something look crap.
At the end of the day, you're the one who has to drive the car, you're the one who has to look at it, you're the one who works on it, and you're the one who pays to do all this stuff, so that gives you a right to do whatever the hell you want.
Expect criticism if your tastes are poor though.

The toplines are 17's and suit e30's. the 16's are available but look crap.
The e30 is one a few cars that can pull off toplines. It's a far better wheel than the BBS replicas
I think a 5mm spacer would work well to give them a bit more poke

Each to their own. I think 17's are too big for E30's. But then I'm also sick of seeing E30's on BBS', replica or not.
