non-pas to pas and coilovers advice

So my 318i is non pas wondering if its worth converting to pas?
I want to run a 36 or z3 rack in the future can these run without pas?
What's a good set of coilovers, I don't too pay more than 500 realistically!

You won't get good, new coilovers for less than 500.

Drive a car with power steering and decide yourself. You can make an E36 or Z3 rack run without power steering but the experience is not very nice IMO.
