i have a tourer with a high comp early sport engine and have just come across a 2.7 eta engine, what engine would you chose??? its going to be an every day driver but the occasional trip around the track, i have a 6 branch and am looking to get a scorpin and maybe a bbtb.
so any advice would be welcome

I would personally take a look inside both of those engines first, the b27 may well be worn out scrap like most of the eta engines left now.
Given that you have a high comp early engine already then my suggestion would be sell the eta and go 2.8.

I'd keep the high comp engine myself. The 2.7 is nice but it isn't miles better and takes a lot of faffing around to make it right.
