can some1 help me iv just went out to my car and the power steering didnt work till i give it some revs so i checked the fluid it was fine but there was water under the car from the header tank its dripping off the engine could this be the water pump that is causing this to happen

Sounds like your water pumps failed and is lubricating your (slack?) steering pump belt.
Get the water pump changed ASAP.

Just had exactly the same happened to me - bought a new water pump - but it turned out to be just a split hose - so good idea to check the hoses first.
