Want a black CD headunit to use for a while until I get a system sorted as the new car only has a radio cassette :violin:

Preferably black as silver looks tacky against a black dashboard, though I suppose if it's cheap enough I'll consider it (and get the permanent markers out :lol:).

Don't care about power output, just so long as it'll make noises which vaguely resemble what's on the CDs I put in.

you can get a brand new JVC one in halfrauds for Ԛ£69 mate and I think they do them in black.

If you can stomach silver, I have a 9 month old Alpine CD/Tuner you can have for Ԛ£70 posted, still boxed, with receipt as I got it in April, so still in guarantee.

Strangely ive been looking for exactly the same thing today, go on ebay and get one of the pansonic ones for Ԛ£48 + Ԛ£10 p&p, seems like a decent deal. Otherwise theres a pioneer one for Ԛ£51.99 + Ԛ£10 p&p. Hope this helps, remeber if you pay through paypal use c11-giftguide as a redemption code and get a Ԛ£4.80 discount!

I've got a Panasonic that came out of my Audi if you want it. It's a CD plater, with decent wattage. Not the best example of quality engineering but it makes noises has a display and buttons. I'll check it works with an E30 wiring loom and if it does then you're welcome to it for Ԛ£20 or so plus whatever it costs to get royal mail to kick it around a sorting office for a week.

Oh and cheers for other suggestions everyone, but I'd rather something cheap that I can use for a month and give away/sell for what I paid for it than suffer "depreciation" on a new head unit :)

Though if I got one from Argos I could take it back when I've finished with it and get a refund no questions asked......that's got me thinking :lol:

Had one in my old renault and it was really good. Not up to the quality of the kenwood kit in the audi (i paid a whole Ԛ£100 for the headunit off ebay), but still very good.

The PM was originally a warning yes, but then Iain realised he'd made a mistake and the rules state that no ICE can be offered for sale, but Wanted threads are OK.

Therefore, if you don't have a cheap CD headunit (preferably in black) that you can sell me, then get off my thread.
