Bit more than what I paid back then. Might be a bigger can though. And its sprays on. Easy.

would this do a deep pile carpet ? does it penetrate and cover well ? although how many cans would be needed ?
used some other stuff from ebay that worked very well on a parcel shelf, but still used a couple of cans to get a decent deep finish
wonder if this sort of stuff would be better to use with a brush, sponge, spray bottle, than a can ? , or more so if you got a couple of litres and poured it on and brushed it around then were careful around the heel pad, speaking of which, ive read people have dyed them in a bath, how does that affect the heel pad ?

Never tried the stuff you linked Polsta so cant comment.
My carpets are deep pile and it worked well, I doubt it would do the povo carpet as thats a cheap material anyway. Cant remember how many cans but im sure I didnt buy more than 2 cans and I did my parcel shelf too, although I cant remember. I'd buy 2 cans and see how you got on. If you needed more, its hardly gonna break the bank

It would be wasted in my car. Na, thats too far. Little touches yes, but thats pushing it a bit
plus it would get ruined being on the floor. Not worth wasting material over.

I dyed my cab carpet from beige to black using eBay carpet dye. The carpet comes out like the grey black colour the original black carpets are. I completed the whole car from beige to black and it looked good as well. Really easy as well all you do is put dye in spray bottle provided with dye from ebay seller and spray dye on to carpet and let it dry.

I used this one > http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-CARPET- ... 43b2c121b8 and we still had dye left over. We used a spray bottle to apply it.
End result.

End result.

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

It's a difficult one. The carpet is NLA and finding a half decent second hand one is either expensive or extremely difficult
I have no idea what I'm going to do. I don't think my current carpet is worth dying. It's very brittle & starchy but didn't look that bad when it was fitted

No,underlay is attached, but it's a loop pile one, rather than the velour of the later carpets.Came out of a chromie that the guy was stripping for a track car,I had a biege leather interior,so it suited at the time.Leather interior went some years ago,but the carpet is still here, and frankly,it's in my way,but I am reluctant to send it for landfill!Duke137 wrote:Is it the early type with a seperate underlay?daimlerman wrote:I have an undamaged(I think)early Biege carpet in the garage. It's dirty and has marks on it,but would perhaps dye?
