Hello guys.

Tried to start my car and it's taken a wee bit longer to fire... just a second or so but enough to make me think that's not right.

And now my alarm has went off 5 times this evening is it likely the two are connected is my battery dying?

I know this is cheeky but it's my Lexus not the e30.

Yeah if it's a After market alarm usually they will trigger off if car battery is low, so really could also be alternator not charging battery. Best thing is to get the battery tested and see if alternator is charging battery.
Halfords, kiwi fit, independent garage all should do these test free of charge mate.

Hope this helps

It's standard Lexus key fob alarm stuff. No reason to suspect it's aftermarket.

I've bought a new battery today so will see how it goes if it's popped in.
