Ive just bought a big case lsd (removed from a e30) im using it for track use, im alittle confused with ratios will this be ok for track use and what is the going price car them?

You should find a tag on the case or a stamped marking, this should tell you its ratio.

Looking at about £250+ for one.
3.91 is ok for track use. Something like a 4.1 would be even better but you will have to build it yourself or get Gareth off here to do it (he can also increase the lock up while at it)

Awesome I picked a 8 bolt 3.91 up for 150
