Need advice regarding some water in boot

Just noticed today that in the boot where the jack sits there was some water sitting there, also on the inside of the boot lid there is alot of water sitting there. Any ideas as to where the water is coming from? I have a 325i convertible e30

Boot seal or tail light seal would be first suspects.
You haven't said what model we are talking about here though.
And yeah it is a common issue that will come up with a search.
