nothing surprises me with the stealers , i bought a bulk load of clips screws ect this week and was shocked to find most prices have doubled compared to last year :(

Just checked on cooper bmw parts and 32332226086 is coming up at £297.

32332226731 comes up at £343 but includes the horn pad centre.

They went NLA as Powelly on here bought the last one in stock from Germany. Last year or so.

I find once the original stock runs out, the new batch of parts if they bother has a drastically inflated price

Once again BMW shoot themselves in the foot. Surely it's better to sell a few at 300 quid than none at 600.

Snag is,the £300 represents the selling price 20 odd years ago,to reproduce in 2013,the price is getting on for £600...

At least the things are available,unlike similar trim parts for Ford/Vauxhall/etc.

If a mint steery wheel at £600 is all that's needed to finish your 'sport' resto,you will sell a kidney or the wife to raise the cash!

Apparantly,they made 35 at the end of 2010.Well thats what they said anyway. :? ....I waited until the start of 2011 for mine after sending the last one available of the previous batch back, due to faulty stitching.There were 19 left at that point.

You'd have to be mad to pay that for a steering wheel, especially when you can get a ropey one re-trimmed for a fraction of that price. Glad I got mine a few years ago at the old price.
