Fitting a new fuel tank to a project i'm doing atm.

Has anyone got any tips on the best way/products to use to prevent it rusting ?

I was going to stonechip it then paint it with enamel paint or hammerite.

£25?
Was that awhile ago?

Thought it would cost alot more than that.
Might make a few phone calls on Monday.

innit,
a painted tank will look a bit crappy after it's done a few miles

Not only that, but the first time you spill petrol down it the paint is off unless you use proper 2k stuff

A couple of years now, but the same guy quoted me £50 a wheel for re-furbing BBS which seemed a little steep at the time. A new tank doesn't need much shot blasting, I think he just gave it a light going over to key the paint.

I recently changed a leaky tank on a heavily shultzz'd rotting Famous zone turd,

the leaking petrol made it a very Grimm job and exposed lots of crusty bits
