Just had to jump start the old girl - was sitting for 3 weeks. The ABS warning light is now on. Its a 1988 model. Definately wasn't a warning light prior to jump starting.
All other electrics seem OK and no other warning lights.
Ideas? - failed relay someplace - blown fuse somewhere? Its a 1987 model car.
Thanks is advance

IIRC jump starting can blow the ABS relay - possibly the silver one thats clipped in place above the glovebox.

Using jump leads on modern cars should be avoided! Your ABS ECU is protected against voltage spikes by the over voltage protection relay, as mentioned above, and it will have sacrificed its life doing its job.

I think you might be pushing the definition of modern there, Brian

It could also be low battery voltage... when a battery is near flat first thing that comes on is ABS light IIRC..
