Hi Chaps,

I've just got one of these units second hand, and I'm planning on fitting it to Vikki, my e30 / M20B25 based kit car.

www.greatoldone.co.uk

Has anyone else fitted one to an e30? The physical installation looks very straightforward, but there is a software setup step that needs to be done.

It doesn't look that scary or difficult to do with the racelogic software, but if anyone else has a setup file that I could use as a base 'known good' settings, would you mind sharing it with me?

Ta.

Jason (GOO)

P.S - does anyone know how many pulses per revolution the standard E30 ABS ring produces?

For ABS ring I think you just count how many teeth it has and this determines the pulses per revolution. If I'm wrong someone will correct me ;)

That's what I assumed, but getting a consensus from the experts would be nice. :)

Ok - I've sent a PM to Demlotcrew (the onlu demlot on the list, so I hope it's the right chap :))

Another quick question. The ECU (Motronic 1.3) sends an RPM signal to the Rev Counter in the e30 - I assume that this is Pin 6 - Tacho?
